How to protect your product and docks from rain.

Here in Northern NJ we experience a great deal of rain during the year. Hurricane Irene came and went. Luckily most loading docks were out of service for the weekend. However, those that were working may have experienced slippery conditions due to rain-water blowing in off the trailer roof. In some cases, customers have a "decline" dock (trailer slopes to the loading dock) which compounds the issue.

In any of these cases, Arbon has an excellent solution: RAINGUARD by Frommelt.
The Rainguard effectively eliminates rain water from flowing off the top of the trailer onto your dock, personell and product.

Dock Sealing Shelters for Step Back Trucks and Trailers

When sealing a Step-Back Truck/Trailer (step or lift-gate that extends from the back of vehicle) you must consider the door size, the projection of the "step" and the size of the vehicle. Once this data has been collected a custom built shelter can be constructed.

Frommelt Industries, a Rite-Hite Company, manufactures the ideal solution to this challenge.

The "Combo-Shelter". This product has the ability to seal these types of trailers/trucks with great success. Another benefit is the soft-sided framework, able to absorb off-center trailer impacts without damage.

The pictures shown are from a liquor distributor in Northern NJ. This customer needed to have a tight seal in order to maintain warehouse temperature and keep employees comfortable when the weather is inclement. The challenge was a step-backed delivery truck (pictured) and the installation was successful.
